Status lifecycle
Every case has a status showing where it sits in your clinic's workflow. A case moves through these five states.
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| New | Created, but the client has not yet finalised the intake. This is the pre-intake state. |
| In review | Finalised by the client and awaiting, or under, caseworker review. A completed intake lands here. |
| Assigned | Taken on or allocated for action. |
| Closed | Concluded. |
| Archived | Hidden from the active list. Reversible — a case can be unarchived. |
The usual path is New → In review → Assigned → Closed, with Archived available at any point to take a case out of the active list.
You change a case's status from the Case Management panel — see Working a case.
