For law centres in England & Wales
Parity is an AI intake assistant that turns a client’s first conversation into a structured, quality-checked case record — before a lawyer ever opens the file. And when a case changes hands, the context follows.
The problem with intake today
A clinic runs on limited hours and goodwill. Yet the first conversation arrives unstructured — and too often a lawyer has to re-interview just to learn the facts.
Act I
A calm, plain-language conversation that meets people where they are — and never sends anything they haven’t seen.
The assistant asks one or two plain-language questions at a time and listens. People in distress, or who would never fill in a legal form, can simply explain what happened.
Parity recognises civil matters in England and Wales and gently redirects what you cannot take — criminal, family, immigration, social housing — with helpful next steps. If someone signals immediate danger, it points them to 999 or 101 first. It asks only what is needed, and never gives legal advice.
Built-in guardrails
Before anything reaches the clinic, the client sees the full factual record and confirms it is right — or asks for a correction. Nothing is submitted that they have not read and approved.
Act II
Complete, checked, and triaged — so the first time a lawyer opens a file, the work is the law, not the legwork.
A senior reviewer checks every record against a domain-specific checklist. If an essential fact is missing — a date, a party, a key event — the assistant goes back and asks. Lawyers never receive a half-empty intake.
Completeness review
A complete, structured record: the legal domain, a full factual account in the client's words, the parties and their roles, every key date, the documents available, and the client's desired outcome. Not a snippet — everything a lawyer needs to assess the matter.
One dashboard for every case, as a table or a Kanban board. Filter by status or legal domain, search, and assign. Move a case from new to in review to assigned, and the full context travels with it. Handovers do not mean starting over.
Parity gathers facts and names a domain. It never assesses the merits or advises on strategy.
Signals of immediate danger trigger 999 and 101 guidance before anything else.
It asks only what triage needs, and never fishes for personal details.
Every record is read and confirmed by the client before your team receives it.
Each clinic sees only its own cases. Isolation is enforced at the database.
Out-of-scope matters are signposted to the right help, not quietly dropped.
