Assistant settings
These settings are for clinic administrators. Front-line caseworkers don't need to change them.
A clinic administrator can tune how the intake assistant behaves from the organization settings, under Chatbot / AI Triage.

Conversation depth
Conversation depth (also called triage depth) controls roughly how many back-and-forth exchanges the assistant has with a client before it presents the record. It is a trade-off between the client's time and the detail of the record.
| Depth | Approx. turns | Use when |
|---|---|---|
| Quick | ~5 | You want a fast, light intake. |
| Balanced (default) | ~8 | A sensible default for most clinics. |
| Thorough | ~12 | You want fuller records and clients have time. |
| Exhaustive | ~20 | Complex matters where detail matters most. |
A deeper setting produces a richer record but asks the client more questions.
Clinic context
Clinic context is free text you write about your clinic — who you are, what you do, anything that helps the assistant talk to clients appropriately. The assistant reads it during intake; it is never shown to clients. It is limited to 2,000 characters — keep it concise and factual.
